Taco Trick

If you'd like your taco meat to be like that of a Mexican fast food restaurant chain, after your meat is cooked and seasoned, run it through the food processor. Pulse until you get the consistency you want.

I wondered how to get it like that! Dirtying the food processor with greasy hamburger though makes me like it chunky. Ü

I know just what you mean. My food processor is my favorite small kitchen appliance, but I don't relish cleaning it...which I do in the dishwasher, so I don't know what the big deal is. It is a big deal, though, so we usually just spatula-chop the dickens out of it, a job which falls to the Mav. :)
